About this Blog:

Combining the saying "my two cents" and the currency of a very well known video-game, "My Two Septims" is a blog for any games I gather the motivation to write about, my photography and also my art.

To be precise, this is to be a blog on video-game reviews, under that category will be the following; Production Games, Indie Games and Downloadable Content (Or DLC, for you other gaming-literate people). However, games aren't my sole interest, and although a lot of what I do does revolve around them, I enjoy a couple of other hobbies. Those two being photography (primarily, well, most things) and art (often digital/gaming art).

Naturally, I'm a truly relaxed and kind person. However, right now, upon writing, I'm barely relaxed. But, if you give me time, I'll become my true self eventually and will try to be far less formal unless I mean to be.

About the Author:

This blog is run and written solely by Dan Templeton and that would be me, of course. I'm incredibly passionate about video games and have been for a very long time. I'm studying a course in Video game design through Tiga Games and a company called "Train2Game", I've been on the course for a fair while, however, my motivation is absolutely awful. I'm hoping that upon writing about games, I'll wish to design them more and perhaps will begin to move swiftly through my course.

I feel that both my passion and studies for games help vastly towards my criticisms and knowledge, I've always been interested in more than just how a game looks. I enjoy the mechanics of games and game design and get excited over the most obscure things from time to time.

In reference to my photography, it's a hobby of mine that I enjoy very much. I feel I can determine good composition from bad and also love the macro setting. My art is quite varied, I've taught myself various things over my entire life and have been under artistic influence from two members of my family. Although I don't do art nearly enough, I enjoy it and feel I have the ability to create and draw rather well. I love animation and cartoon illustration mainly.

A while ago, I was accepted by Indie Game Mag to write, later on, I was accepted again and began writing there. I was then made to be a Forum Manager under the name "templeton", but have since quit.
