Image Test; Flame Atronach

Well, this post will be short and sweet - Recently I was on a holiday to Spain, while there I drew quite a few scraps on my iPad and this was one of them. The inspiration for it was part Zelda: Ocarina of Time and part Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. So, Flame Atronach/Fire Dancer.

Part of the reason I'm uploading this is to test how images work when posted. Hopefully this turns out ok. It also shows that I do draw stuff! Which is hopefully a plus.

And so it Begins...

Hey there fellow human, it seems you've stumbled upon something. You may have guessed by the title, it's game related in some way, but to be precise, I mean this to be for game-reviews, art and photography, all my own.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "There surely isn't much of a niche for this type of thing", and I agree with you, you're right. Independent and freelance gaming reviews are at large right now. This could be due to the fact that the digital world is only getting bigger and that now, anyone is free to do as they please on the internet with all the tools necessary to do anything.

Myself included, I've started this blog with ease. But, although we all have the power to start something, that doesn't necessarily mean we're all capable of making something good and making it last. Through first impression, it'd be quite arrogant of me to suggest that this blog will be in a class of it's own in terms of literature and diction, and I really don't mean to suggest that, but, it is my intention to do this all to the best of my abilities. Be that through my photography, or art that I've done all the way down to writing about games, the very reason I started this blog in the first place.

Although there isn't much of a niche for this type of thing, I feel that although something has been done, that's a terrible reason not to try your hand at it. Why let what someone else has done prevent you from doing it? That would be foolish. This is my blog and it's relevant to me, it has no relevance to anyone else and although what I wish to write about is commonplace in this digital world, me writing about it is completely different from that of another.

I'd like to apologise for how contrived my writing is right now, but, if you head to the "About Things" page, you'll see why. Basically, I'm not relaxed. It can be hard to find the correct words to say in the very first instance and it's also very difficult to produce words naturally unless you're comfortable with the situation. My mind keeps on replaying the thought of "whatever I write here will reflect the entire blog" but I don't want that to be the case as it won't.

Please, just give me time. Among all that I've mentioned, writing is also a passion of mine. Despite the fact I've never had much expansive and high English tuition or learning, we can all learn things in our own time and I like to believe I have. Hopefully before long, this blog will be casual, kind and fun to read while still getting to the point and letting you know precisely what you want to know. I'll unwind and relax over time, you'll soon see my true self. But, if you'd like to know how I am sooner, well, you could always talk to me directly or contact me!


With all this said, I should really head off for now. This is the first thing I've written and submitted, and I could obsess over it until the even earlier hours of the morning, but I shan't.
Time for toast, Yogscast on my TV and bed!
